Masters Swimming
What is it?
Masters swimming is competitive swimming for swimmers over the age of 25.
Competitions are organized in 5-year age bands. In Britain most (but not all) masters groups
are sections of regular swimming clubs (unlike the USA where the organization
is much more separate).
Birmingham Masters SC is the premier masters club in the West Midlands and topped the medals table in the 1999
ASA Masters championships at Sheffield.

At one time when we didn't have a regular coach, various swimmers in the club took it in turns to coach the training
